The original luxury sports watch, Gérald Genta’s Royal Oak holds legendary status as it passes its 50th anniversary, and this ref. 56023SA features the classic elements that have given the design such iconic stature, including the Tapisserie dial, the integrated bracelet, and the iconic octagonal case, but with a twist of luxurious 18k yellow gold, combined with rugged stainless steel. At 36mm, the watch is suitable for all wrists, and this particular model wears larger than its size suggests thanks to its sharp angles and elongated lugs. Quintessentially Royal Oak, the immaculate brushed case and bracelet reflect even the smallest amount of light with a unique beauty, as does the Petite Tapisserie dial, cut using a 100-year old pantograph technique unique to Audemars Piguet. In metallic grey, with a golden date wheel and gold hour markers, the dial works beautifully with the yellow gold and steel case and bracelet to create a shimmering effect on the wrist. A stylishly opulent, historical splash of colour.

In excellent overall condition, the watch is recently back from a full service at Audemars Piguet, and is fitted with a new bracelet. It comes with its service paperwork, card and box.
